Hi.

Heat, pollution, and pesticides are killing humans and nature

People are dying from the heat. Heat deaths around the world have increased, and I fear that these numbers are nowhere near the actual death toll. Wildlife and plants are not included in these figures either and that should be a part of this picture to truly see how heat is killing literally everything.

People are dying in greater numbers from pollution and pesticides. Yes those are two similar aspects of chemical released into the environment, but they are also different because pollution is a much broader scope than the specific pollutant like pesticides. Again, this does not include wildlife, plants, and insects that are also being decimated from pollution and pesticides.

We can’t ban the heat but we can ban pesticides. We can ban the sun from the rays, but we can help with reducing our carbon footprint and reducing our overall consumption of goods. This recent study that has found the direct link from pesticides to cancer is just another reason why pesticides should be put out of business all together.

Both pollution and pesticides are increasing the heat. If everyone takes steps to eliminate pesticides and minimize pollution, it could make a difference. Planting trees, banning pesticides, providing more green spaces, restricting flying for significant events, and offering public transportation instead of individual car use, are all ways that could make a tremendous difference if everyone does their part.

What we do, how we purchase, and how much we purchase are all things we can control and change to do our own part in providing a future for our planet.

Please read and share the following articles. This is another way you can help make a difference, by passing on the information.
