Hi.

Thank you for visiting A World Betwixt Worlds. New content is added weekly.

The US government needs to stop with the disingenuous claims of wanting a ceasefire when they turn around and approve a $20 billion arms package for Israel

What about the ICJ ruling requesting that countries do their part to no longer recognize Israel because it is illegally occupying Palestine?

What about the Leahy Law that withholds arms from the US to military units that commit war crimes?

What about international humanitarian law?

What about human rights?

It’s frustrating to watch the US government put on the performance that they are leaders that uphold human rights and are above reproach. Which is exactly why leaders say they want a ceasefire but none of their actions match a country pushing for a ceasefire. Not when there are no sanctions against Israel for the genocide and war crimes they are committing in Gaza, can US elected officials turn to the media and claim they want a ceasefire. Not when the US agrees to yet another massive arms package for Israel, can US elected officials turn to the media and claim they want a ceasefire.

US elected officials do not want a ceasefire for Gaza.

Why? Because US elected officials have been bought by Zionist lobbyists and are rewarded with increased campaign donations for supporting Israel.

For one country to arm another country to the teeth, and then in the same breath say that they want peace is an outright lie.

What would the US have to do to prove they wanted a ceasefire for Gaza? The US would have to sanction Israeli leaders and military officials, revoke all military funding, enact an arms embargo, and follow the request made by the ICJ in no longer recognizing Israel as a state. Until the US government takes these steps, they do not want peace for Gaza.

Increasing arms to war criminals is what a government that is devoid of humanity and one that refuses to recognize human rights does. This is an act of escalation and not deescalation. Clearly the US government is strategically taking these actions to aggravate US opponents in the Middle East to the point that they will go to war with Israel.

Israel is planning to annex more land from Palestine and expand even when the ICJ ruled that this is illegal and leaders need to cease ties with Israel over their illegal occupation of Palestine that is going even further and expanding even more.

How are there no sanctions?

How are there no arms embargoes?

How do other countries even bother with Israel or the US? The fact that the world is still so terrified of the US and retaliation for holding Israel accountable for the genocide they are committing, is a hard thing to process. So many countries say they want a ceasefire, yet they do nothing in the way of sanctions or an arms embargo against Israel. If countries united together against Israel and the US, things would change, but they are all too beholden to the US sadly.

This is why we need a global strike because every government around the world needs to be restructured and the power given back to the people. Elected officials are not protecting our human rights and we all need to work together to end the oppression.

Palestinians are still being massacred.

Nothing is being done to end this genocide.

Keep raising your voice for Palestine.

Keep boycotting for Palestine.

From the river to the sea, may Palestine be free. May the whole world be free.
