Sudan is in urgent need of donations. Please donate to aid organizations and Sudanese charities

The war is still raging on in Sudan while over 9 million innocent Sudanese have been displaced and 25 million innocent Sudanese are in need of humanitarian aid. How are so few still quiet about Sudan when millions of people are facing famine, genocide, and sexual violence? Sudan needs your voice and support. Please help in any way you can whether it be sharing the news from Sudan, to donating, refraining from purchasing new gold items, or contacting your elected officials and demanding sanctions and an arms embargo for both the RSF and SAF.

  • 15,000+ innocent Sudanese have been killed.

  • 1.8 million innocent Sudanese have fled the country.

  • 8.8 million innocent Sudanese have been displaced.

  • 25 million innocent Sudanese require humanitarian assistance.

In order to understand what is currently going on in Sudan, it is easiest to discuss specific stories so the picture can be better understood.

Al Jazeera: ‘Hell on Earth’ as violence escalates in Sudan’s el-Fasher

The UN has described the attacks on El-Fasher as “hell on Earth” because displaced Sudanese who have sought shelter in El-Fahser, are being attacked yet again, and are now trapped with no supplies entering the city. 58 people have died as a result of the fighting in El-Fasher. If a full blown siege begins in El-Fasher, then 1.8 million Sudanese would be forced to flee the city and go to where? Chad is undergoing a huge humanitarian aid shortage and unable to offer support to the Sudanese refugees. But where are the Sudanese seeking safety to go? Please make a donation humanitarian organizations and Sudanese charities, or share the links for them. Aid groups are in dire need of our support.

The New Arab: Why the US is unable to restrain the UAE in Sudan

It’s important to understand the connections the UAE has with the RSF and why the US is not holding the UAE accountable. This article does fall short in the fact that it does not address the US and the UAE agreements regarding Gaza and Yemen or the arms deal that was agreed to when the US had previously refused to sell arms to the UAE.

Sudan Tribune: Sudan facing dire humanitarian crisis, top UN official warns

Sudanese are dying from the war and are enduring a famine because aid organizations are unable to safely distribute supplies to the millions who are suffering. It’s not just the war posing threats to logistics and distribution, but the funding for Sudan is extremely low and underfunded. Where countries are not stepping up, we can step up to help the Sudanese who are starving, injured, displaced, and have no safe refuge.

UN: UN’s rights chief horrified by Sudan escalation as famine draws nearer

Not only famine but disease is running rampant in Sudan as there is little access to healthcare facilities, food, clean water, and medicine. This is why it is so important to share the current state of deterioration and crisis that Sudanese are enduring. Please share or donate to organizations listed below.

Al Jazeera: US sanctions two RSF commanders as fighting escalates in Sudan’s Darfur

Now this is some welcome news. This is the US taking a bit of action, but before congratulating the US on these sanctions, stop and ask why the US has not sanctioned all the top leaders in the RSF and why they are not taking action on an arms embargo. Why is the US only sanctioning two leaders when there are many that should be sanctioned along with an arms embargo on all warring parties and their suppliers?
