Hi.

Thank you for visiting A World Betwixt Worlds. New content is added weekly.

There is no safe place in Sudan. Millions of Sudanese are facing hunger and displacement.

The fighting in Sudan is displacing millions of innocent Sudanese that are caught in the fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces. There are not many safe places left in Sudan, and the Sudanese that flee to Chad are experiencing atrocities and attacks in Chad. Even after ceasefire talks were discussed, and both sides agreed to begin negotiations, the war in Sudan continued and cities are under bombardment. The last major free city, Wad Madani, that refugees have sought safety, is now under siege.

7 million innocent Sudanese have nowhere to go.

Over 12,000 innocent Sudanese have been killed.

18 million innocent Sudanese face hunger.

With the attacks centered on major cities, humanitarian organizations have been forced to shut down or their presence has been seriously reduced. There is little food or medicine reaching the millions of displaced Sudanese who desperately need these services. Sudanese are being slaughtered, raped, and kidnapped by the RSF (funded by the UAE) who is claiming they are trying to save the Sudanese from the Sudanese army. The SAF has also committed war crimes and killed innocent Sudanese in the war with the RSF.

Humanitarian organizations that remain are reporting horrific atrocities of mass killings of women, children, and men. With the war focusing on Wad Madani where the humanitarian organizations were centered, the war has now interrupted any safe access to aid for those who need it.

There is currently an arms embargo on the RSF in Darfur, and the UN and the Sudanese foreign ministry are asking for this embargo to be respected because arms shipments are still being delivered to the RSF. The Sudanese foreign ministry is also asking for the RSF to be labeled a terrorist group and is also looking to sanction the UAE and Chad in breaking the arms embargo and assisting the RSF.

World leaders must support Sudan and sanction the UAE and Chad for breaking the arms embargo.
