Sudan is so rarely discussed which in part comes from the lack of reporting about the genocide and the horrors that innocent Sudanese must try to survive through. It is highly probable that elected officials are taking the lack of focus on Sudan so that they can evade any concrete action to end the war in Sudan or offer any funding to humanitarian organizations and programs. The lack of reporting about Sudan, along with the disinformation spread that the war in Sudan is a civil war and an issue between internal factions within Sudan is also a common incorrect statement that some people make when they discuss Sudan and their own personal reason for not becoming involved. The genocide in Sudan is not a civil war but a proxy war for resources. The UAE and other countries are funding and arming the RSF, and they are all doing so in order to gain access and control over the resources within Sudan, which has been proven with the RSFs takeover of gold mines throughout Sudan and that gold being sent to the UAE.
If there was an arms embargo for the warring parties in Sudan, the war would end.
If there were serious sanctions against the warring parties and those that arm them, the war would end.
Why are there still so little and ineffective sanctions against the RSF and SAF? Why would the US and other countries increase sanctions on some countries recently, but not on the RSF and SAF?
10 million Sudanese are forced to seek safety and shelter due to the war. They are leaving Sudan because they have no food. The sheer number of people suffering in Sudan should move elected officials throughout he world into action, but they refuse action.

There is little aid available to the Sudanese. It has become so awful that Doctor’s Without Borders is asking other humanitarian aid groups to come back to Sudan and help. Help is needed, as well as donations. If you are able to, please donate to aid groups that support Sudan and share.

Many Sudanese want the war to cease and for an interim, nonpartisan government take the reins. The people want peace and a say in their government.
