US Wants War- Rejects UN Resolution for Ceasefire and Hostage Exchange

The UN Security Council held a meeting yesterday and the US, France, Japan, and the United Kingdom were the four opposing votes which would have ended the siege of Gaza with the provision of the hostages being released from both sides. Security Council rejects Russian Resolution on Gaza

THE US GOVERNMENT WANTS WAR

The reason that the countries voted to reject the resolution was due to the language of condemnation not being strong enough against Hamas. Millions of lives are at stake but world leaders are upset that this resolution did not denounce Hamas enough is a truly repugnant excuse devoid of logic and humanity.

2000 troops have been called to deploy to the Middle East. There are multiple warships in the region, not just aircraft carriers. It is beyond evident that the US government has made the decision that war is their response and they do not want peace talks, deescalation, or diplomacy. Humanitarian aid is not being deployed, the military is and that speaks loud enough for a response.

Along these lines of reasoning and the blatant disregard for war crimes and the allowance for genocide to take place leads to one conclusion- the US intent is to take land and to allow Israel to take land. The US government wants control of oil. They do not want to drill in the states, they can take control of countries that do and have less regulation. Following imperial doctrine, the US government has defined their response as support for Israel for the preface of war, but Israel does not require this level of support as they have an army, nuclear warheads, and a technically advanced missile system. The only attackers are Hamas terrorists that do not have anything comparable to the Israeli regime. Sending US troops are more warships that are unnecessary means one thing, war.

Currently in Gaza, the situation is beyond dire. Hospitals are being destroyed. There is no water in Gaza. There is no food. There is no shelter or safety. Egypt has refused the opening of the border out of fear that they will then be responsible for the millions of Palestinians because Israel will not allow these civilians to return to Gaza, and that is a founded concern. Israel has done this before. However, delaying opening the border at Rafah only compounds the suffering. The UN, UNICEF, WHO and other aid organizations are desperately asking for access to the Palestinians who are injured, have no food or water, and are dying. Their pleas are not being heard and are disregarded. The US has prevented the humanitarian aid and a ceasefire along with the other major powers that voted or abstained from vote in the UN Security Council. Hostages could have been exchanged under the UN resolution, as the Israeli government states that this is their one factor for continuing the genocide but they chose to continue as did the United States government. Their actions are obvious. They do not want peace.

Israel wants land. The US wants oil. Humanity will further deplete from the horrific destruction and genocide of the Palestinian people.

The International Criminal Court has opened an investigation over the horrors and brutality that has destroyed Gaza. If any Palestinians or Israeli’s are able to make a statement regarding the war crimes against Palestine, the ICC would like to hear your truth and testimony. Office of the Prosecutor ICC

Continue to speak up! Continue to fight for humanity! Even in these deeply dark hours, there is hope. We have to keep it alive. Be the voice that is so desperately needed right now.
