Trump is gunning for each and every one of us unless you are a billionaire. Democrats are providing no opposition to his expanding powers and destruction of necessary program, policies, departments, and institutions. US elected officials are all servants to the same masters, lobby groups and the billionaire class.
Some people might be sitting back thinking that they will avoid this firing squad and remain unaffected by the rise in fascism, but I hate to tell these people that they are the first ones to fall victim to these bullets. The federal employees that were fired are the perfect example because many of these employees that voted for Trump somehow felt like they would be exempt. There are no exemptions under fascism unless you are the ones pulling the strings, that is it.
Right now there are victims, these former federal employees, bleeding out silently when they should be banging down every elected officials door and screaming in their face. Where are the protests of fired federal employees? The only protests are from scientists because public health and severe environmental consequences will occur without their reinstatement but what about all of the other federal employees that are out of work and money?
Where is the anger? Where are the voices of the discontent? Where is the action resulting from justified discontent and anger?
Not raising your voice means you accept what is occurring. I do not accept what is occurring to any degree at all.
People talk big game about punching Nazi’s in the face. Well you have your chance and I hate to say that a lot of people have chosen to befriend the Nazis.
Drop the sports, tv shows, celebrity worship, and speak up for human rights. We are on the brink of losing the tiny bit of humanity that remains and we must protect what is left and help it grow.
A Palestinian graduate student at Columbia University, Mahmoud Khalil, is being held without cause because he spoke out for Palestine. He is attending university on a Green card and the US government is threatening deportation. We cannot let him down. Mahmoud Khalil needs all of our voices demanding his freedom and restitution for this unlawful imprisonment and threats of deportation. College students across the country are protesting and demanding his release. That same energy cannot be seen coming from the Democratic Party, unfortunately only fourteen Democrats signed their name to a letter which called for Khalil’s release.

We cannot let this become another accepted practice like what has already occurred with the Trump administration shutting down integral federal agencies and departments. Where is the fight demanding our services be met?
The Trump administration is trying to overwhelm us with the sheer number of eliminations and executive orders they are passing. With little to no opposition from the people, they are keeping the speed and intensity of it all to exact the maximum possible effect of their agenda. The fascist/capitalist agenda is to make money off of Americans while providing a subminimal amount of service, if any, to Americans.
They want your tax dollars.
They want you to spend all of your money.
They want you to pay a premium on everything.
They will send you to prison if you cannot pay bills and become homeless.
They will not offer any assistance to deter impending homelessness.
They will profit off of your labor in prison.
With the tariffs, they can now raise the price of goods to unheard of levels and charge Americans excessively without any pushback because the manufacturers and retailers can lay blame the increase on the tariffs. This was the case with inflated prices of goods already, and because there was no pushback from the federal government, here we are. Add this on top of the premiums for every aspect of a purchase.
If you think that anyone in the Trump administration is losing money, they are not because they are profiting from the chaos they are sewing. They know where to place the bets because they are creating the conditions.
There have been protests outside of Tesla dealerships because of Elon Musk’s role in DOGE and the elimination of critical federal agencies and regulations. In response to these protests, Trump has stated that violence against Tesla is considered terrorism. They even parked Tesla’s in front of the White House to advertise for the carmaker. Not so shocking, the Tesla stock shot up just like that.
Again, what is it about? Profit. This perfectly encapsulates what is taking place. Peaceful protests against a fascist company is considered terrorism and the First Amendment no longer exists. Profit is king here.
Raise that voice and be loud. Let your representatives hear you. Remind them what the First Amendment is and that WE have not forgotten our rights and WE will stand up to protect them and each other.
