The US government calls student protests "antisemitic" but they can't call Israel out for actually committing war crimes and genocide

When a fascist fears that they are losing power, they will restrict and attack any powers and rights of others so they can maintain their sense of control. This is what we are witnessing. This is what we are experiencing in every government whether it be the US or any other country. The need for control and to oppress people in order to dominate instead of help or protect, is an issue that is so pervasive that our world is unraveling before our eyes. With the student protests across the US and the US government and college administrators condemning freedom of speech and equating it with antisemitism, shows how threatened those in power are that they would arrest people for calling out their lack of humanity.

To silence these protesters, it takes a level of triggered and fear, which these protesters are clearly hitting within the US government to have such attacks on citizen’s civl rights. Every protester on college campuses across the US has significant power because they are making a lot of depraved politicians fear them for holding them accountable and not backing down.

Colleges are suspending students and having them arrested for sitting on the campus that they attend and holding signs against the genocide of innocent Palestinians. The White House stepped in and called these protests “antisemitic”. No one is attacking the Jewish faith. It’s disingenuous and deceitful to twist the meaning of antisemitism to mean that the leaders of Israel, who happen to be Jewish, and are committing war crimes and atrocities in Gaza, cannot be called out and condemned for killing 34,000 Palestinians. It’s not antisemitic, it’s being honest, but some people cannot handle the truth and choose to twist and manipulate definitions in order to attack those who declare Israel’s war a genocide.

As all of those who dissent are clamped down on by authorities and police, the bodies of hundreds of innocent Palestinians have been discovered at Al-Shiffa and Nasser Hospital’s. Where is the outcry for these lives and what they suffered? Where is the condemnation against Israel for these disturbing horrors? No, the US government chooses to scream at students for bringing to light these war crimes.

What also needs to be pointed out is that the US news media has chosen to ignore the mass graves that have been discovered of hundreds of bodies with their hands tied, paints US college students as radicals that need to be imprisoned, and refuses to mention the loss of American’s rights as a result. The TikTok ban, the warrantless surveillance bill, and the loss of student’s free speech and protests could and should be discussed in the news as they are all the a byproduct of the fear that US elected officials have and the response is to remove American’s rights. These are all related and a response of fear. More of our rights will be lost if we do not respond and protect our rights from those in power. Elected officials no longer want to protect our rights, they have chosen to abolish them.

The largest hypocrisy in all of this is the fact that Israel is committing war crimes and genocide, but college students are attacked and jailed for their bravery and Israel is rewarded with $26 billion in funding from the US. Even the recent report that has been released failed to address any of the current atrocities Israel has perpetrated against Palestinians, and only reviews war crimes from before the start of the war on Gaza.

We need elected officials in office who will protect our rights. If they cannot do this major component of elected office, it means that they are not fit for a role in power and should be removed as they pose a threat to our rights. It’s time to vote them all out.

How many more rights will we lose? I will ask this question until the tide turns and the people are in control of their own rights.

How many more rights before we say enough is enough? What will it take?

From the river to the sea, may Palestine be free. May the whole world be free.
