The US sells arms to UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey as a means to buy their support

Biden once promised he would not sell arms to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, but like his promise to not extend the border wall, he is breaking all of his promises.

Why? Because he needs all three countries to support the US and Israel. The US and Israel have plans for the war to escalate beyond Gaza and they need regional allies who will turn a blind eye to their aggression. Israel has stated they are going to expand their war into Lebanon, which they have made firm claims to attacking Lebanon since the beginning of the war on Gaza in October. If the US means to not escalate war then why the arms sales to so many countries that the US has previously said they would never sell arms to?

Not surprising, the UAE recently announced they will continue and maintain relations with Israel despite Israel’s genocide of 23,000+ Palestinians. The UAE explains that they are providing enough through their humanitarian efforts to Gaza as millions are starving and without healthcare and medicine. More than likely some of the missiles that have been sold to the UAE will end up in Sudan to arm the RSF. There is a bill in congress meant to block the sale to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. It must pass.

If the US goes to war with Yemen like it is threatening, Saudi Arabia who has been at war with Yemen, and the UAE who has also battled Yemen, will have more arms to fight against Yemen along with the US. The US is prepping the whole Middle East for a confrontation and setting up their puppets through arms sales.

It is alarming that so many countries in the Middle East can be so easily bought at the cost of innocent Palestinian lives and millions of others if the Saudi arms deal does succeed in congress.

What’s interesting in the headlines regarding the arms sale to Saudi Arabia and the UAE is the conflicting reasons for the sale. Some headlines blame Iran and some headlines blame the Houthis, but the foundation to the reasoning is that both countries fear a greater conflict and need arms. Do they need arms? Both Saudi Arabia and the UAE are not at war with any country so how do they not have an arsenal to protect their country? How are they not sufficiently protected at the present? Are these arms deals a means to threaten or deter Iran, Houthis, and Hezbollah? Again, this arms deal between the US and Saudi Arabia and the UAE should be blocked because it will lead to escalation and also these arms will lead to deaths in Sudan and possibly other countries like Yemen, Lebanon, and Iran.

As for Turkey, the US wants their cooperation. They are looking for an eager cheerleader and it looks like Turkey is breaking out the pompoms so they can get F-16’s.

The US is doling out arms for compliance.

It is also extremely concerning that the US is arming Yemen’s two greatest aggressors.

If the US actually wants peace in the Middle East, they are only speaking with their allies and not negotiating with the countries they claim are aggressors. If the US wants to achieve peace then they will have to open diplomacy with these countries and groups and not arm their allies because that is seen as an act of aggression.

Don’t push arms when you are trying to achieve peace, that’s counterproductive to what is trying to be achieved.

Blinken is on a tour of the Middle East but his words are meaningless, as are the president’s when their actions are opposite of their words. They keep on blaming the Houthis and Iran for ramping up escalations, but it is the US is killing Houthi rebels and militia leaders, not the other way around.

Biden is taking all the steps to escalate a war in the Middle East. He is setting everything up for war. He is looking for anyone to step out of line in the eyes of the US as justification, and a war will begin. It is his only chance at reelection and arming countries that should not be armed by the US is just more proof that Biden wants to go to war. There could be peace talks, but they choose to arm countries with horrific human rights records that he vowed he would never arm.
