Major Events Leading to Further Escalation, Violence, Suppression, Annexation, and Genocide

This is a comprehensive list of events throughout the world regarding the human rights crisis and genocide of the Palestinian people, the current actions of both Israel and the US governments, the threats of escalation, the continuation of violence, and the looming warning of annexation.

  • Israel has attacked Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria

    • This was my first concern when I read Netanyahu and Herzog’s response that Israel has a greater goal than annexing Gaza, but for more land and eliminate their threats using the Hamas attack as the springboard to wipe out all terrorists.

    • The entire Israeli government has categorized all Palestinians as Hamas terrorists. They will continue this rhetoric and attack other countries with this baseless justification.

    • Where are world leaders? These are soverign nations that have not attacked Israel. Are they not allowed to defend their countries? Israel is claiming these attacks were on terrorist cells, but killed two workers for the meteorology service

  • Israel has bombed parts of the West Bank

    • Israel is attacking and killing their own citizens.

    • Where are the foreign nations and leaders condemning this? Israel is attacking their own citizens which breaks further articles under the Geneva Convention and no international power is denouncing this.

    • What people are not noticing is that world leaders are also not valuing the life of innocent Israeli’s either. They are just as expendable as Palestinians. To these leaders who remain silent, all of our lives are expendable to justify their means.

  • Secretary of State Blinken stated that the Israeli government needs to create a plan when they are finished with their siege for Gaza’s leadership.

    • This has been the intent for this entire genocide and Blinken confirmed it.

    • Never does he mention any inclusion of Palestinians but leaves complete control of Gaza in the hands of the Israeli government.

    • In Blinken’s callous statement, he gave permission to Israel to annex Gaza and impose whatever conditions on the Palestinians.

    • Where are the world leaders? They are the only people with power who can stop this immediately. The UN needs an emergency meeting but it will require all representatives to take on the US, but you can do it . It will take a united effort like that of WWII, but if other nations do not, Israel and the US will continue this rampage in the Middle East and likely elsewhere. Remember, leaders, the US cannot sanction the entire world, but it will take the entire world to stop these horrific actions.

  • The US is sending MORE warships.

    • The fighting will extend beyond Gaza, as it already has.

    • World leaders have the power to condemn this posturing of the navy from the US. This is threatening and meant to silence the nations that are being threatened by the Israeli military. It seems highly likely that the US military is ready to join the fight as well and waiting for provocation so they can justify a violent response along the lines of Israel.

    • In the time I wrote this I had to go back to add this: the US has now released a statement threatening any possible attacks on their forces. *THIS IS A TRAP! Do NOT attack US warships as much as they provoke. I cannot imagine how frustrating this situation is for leaders who are trying to defend their countries. The US wants you to fight first so they can have justification for war.

  • Some aid has gotten through the Rafah border, but humanitarian organizations need hundreds of trucks and they need to be protected from harm.

    • Water and electricity remain off at the direction of Israel which is subjecting the Palestinian people to diseases and death.

    • Hospitals have closed due to damage or lack of electricity and medicine.

    • There are few hospitals that are functioning.

    • There are no neutral zones and the Israeli military is disregarding the safe zones.

    • The suffering of the Palestinian people is immeasurable- they have no safe space, they have no food, they have no water, they have no medicine.

    • World leaders spoke up against Russian war crimes but are silent when it comes to Israeli and US war crimes. They must denounce the continued horrors against the Palestinian people and provide humanitarian relief. The UN does hold the power to override the US veto, but it will take all votes to do so. World leaders need to unite.

  • Protestors across the world are being detained for peaceful protests

    • Riot police have attacked and arrested crowds of protestors who were obeying the right to peaceful, civil protests but their rights to voice their support and concern for Palestine was taken

    • Again, world leaders, let your people speak. Listen to them, learn, open a dialogue. When police become violent with protestors that are concerned over human rights and genocide, that then becomes active suppression of thought and speech.

    • A recent poll found that most Americans do not support US military engagement or funding for Israel, but does support aid to Palestine. Elected officials, listen to your constituency. This is part of your job. The most concerning aspect of the world is that the constituency is the one demanding human rights be respected, while it is the actual of jobs of elected officials to advocate for that for their constituents and the greater good, yet they are not.

  • Prominent writers, activists, academics, students, journalists, and political leaders are being cancelled, silenced, ignored, or shut down for interviews or sharing their thoughts on Palestine

    • Threatening advocates for Palestine, doxxing them, canceling them, forcing them to quit, this is absolute and unadulterated McCarthyism meant to silence.

    • These are the best people to respond to the needs and history regarding Palestine and also the current situation , there is a reason this group is being silenced. These are prominent thinkers who have credible and pertinent information, and the supporters of the Israeli genocide want little to no credible information, history, or current news available to the world.

    • The fact this is pervasive across the world is disturbing. This speaks to the long-arm of American economic bullying of other countries who are cowing to the US.

  • The Biden administration has asked SCOTUS to allow them access to social media companies in regards to disinformation regarding Israel.

    • If the Biden administration has the power to do this, then the people should have the information that the Biden administration has asked social media companies to suppress.

    • What are they categorizing as disinformation? This is concerning as the White House has released false news regarding Israel and has never corrected these instances though news outlets have reported the opposite (both the beheaded babies story and the rocket launch on Al-Ahli hospital

  • Hamas wants to exchange hostages but Israel is dragging feet in hostage negotiations

    • The first UN meeting regarding the Israeli siege asked for hostage exchanges and would have ended the violence, but the US, France, UK, and Japan vetoed this exchange.

    • Hamas has released 2 hostages. These hostages are American and this was orchestrated between Qatar and the US.

    • Why is the focus not the hostages? If the return of hostages ends the siege, then why continue if Hamas is willing to release them? This can end, if that is the actual intent of the Israeli government- the safe return of the hostages.

    • All foreign powers should either be offering to help with diplomacy in the Middle East, a ceasefire, hostage exchanges, and asserting humanitarian access to Palestinians.

World leaders must speak up. Humanitarian organizations must speak up.

Protestors- continue to voice your support for Palestine. Thank you for showing the world that their is courage, decency, and those willing to fight for human rights.
