Al Jazeera: US led coalition warns Houthis of ‘consequences’ after Red Sea attacks
The three articles that I want to highlight are Israeli officials said in talks with Congo, others on taking in Gaza emigrants , US led coalition warns Houthis of ‘consequences’ after Red Sea attacks, and New Bills Aim to Block US Arms Sales to Saudi Arabia, UAE Amid Concerns of Regional Conflict.
Israel is making plans with other countries to take Palestinians and one of those countries is the DRC. Israel does not get to make these decisions for Palestinians who get to make the decision on where they live, not Israel. Making Gaza unlivable and forcing Palestinians to leave their land has been the goal of Israel all along. It is up to the world to protect Palestinians right to their land. If Israel has its way, they will send Palestinians to another war-torn country.
As for the US and other nations warning the Houthi’s to end their blockade, the US is getting so close to attacking the Houthi’s and also Yemen. If this happens, there will be a greater war. The fact the US and other nations think they have authority over the region and can rule over foreign waters is absurd, but this little letter they wrote and signed is a warning that they will begin attacks. The US is playing with false legitimacy and also trying to cover their tracks with “I warned them” statements, but the truth is that they are the aggressor in Middle Easter waters. Let the shipping industry figure out their situation, there is no need for US navy and other countries (all the major imperialist nations) to intervene in waters that are not adjacent to their country especially when they are all not involved in a war.
The last article I wanted to highlight is another article about the Biden administration overstepping authority. US officials are selling arms to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This breaks the federal Leahy Law and also would affect the UN arms embargo on the RSF because the UAE would then provide US arms to the RSF in Sudan. This is also another reason the UAE and Saudi Arabia are inactive in their assistance on genocide in Gaza with the US providing both countries with arms as a way to buy them off.
From the river to the sea, may Palestine be free. May the whole world be free.
