Fossil fuels are killing our planet and enabling climate change. We have to stop drilling for oil and using fossil fuels. We all have to sacrifice and make changes to keep nature thriving for centuries to come, and if we do not, there will not be centuries to come.
When I hike, I enter a world of utter beauty. I adore nature with every bit of my heart and soul. It is freeing and enriching. I hope that each person gets to make that connection with nature because it is an immense source of love.
Come with me, and you’ll be in a world of pure imagination.
Protect this fragile, pure world. This is what you are saving…
If you want to view paradise, simply look around and view it. You can view paradise, but only if you protect that paradise.
Make a stand and fight fossil fuels. We are all going to have to give up cars sooner than later. Let’s walk, ride bikes, take public transit, and carpool until we can completely phase out all fossil fuel use.
Instead of military spending, governments should allocate that money into creating 15-minute cities that are walkable for everyone. I have lived in a 15-minute city and absolutely loved not having to drive.
The US is increasing their fossil fuel production and looking at expanding drilling in fragile envrionments like protected land in Alaska. Demand a change. Cop28 is doing little to make a dent in the elimination of the fossil fuel industry, but each of us has the power to make changes, protest, and vote out those who support the oil industry.
This landscape that I hiked looks different and it is because of climate change. This trail should be lined with wildflowers. The rivers should be full and the waterfalls should be flowing, but they are not.
Please do your part and help end fossil fuel use across the world. Let’s keep this stunning earth thriving for centuries to come.
From the river to the sea, may the whole world be free. Stop the oppression of people and nature.
