Both Israel and the US give one perspective and then another that completely negates their original stance leaving the world confused. There is a reason for this, they want confusion. They want their words to not match so nothing can be held to them, but if you listen closely, it is easy to find when both are consistent, always in the quietest ways.
Biden says that there will be no ceasefire. Then in the same day, he releases a statement that Israel is a nation he has no power over and they are setting their own course independent from his authority. Please pick an option, White House. Why would Biden state firmly that there will be no ceasefire if he has no power over Israel? Why not simply reply that Israel is adamant on continuing the war? The answer is known to everyone including Biden. President Biden has the power to get Israel to agree to a ceasefire. He does not want one. Later, this same day as negating any ceasefire option, Biden releases a statement claiming that Israel is acting of their own accord and he has no authority over their actions. It cannot be both. This was the president’s attempt to erase his admission that he does not want a ceasefire and will not allow one in Gaza. This is also meant to confuse the public. The outcome is that Biden and the White House loses further credibility. It is another instance to not believe the president, the administration, or the government.
There is an agenda that is sought, and while both the US government and Israel promise that Israel is not going to annex Gaza, they have already said quietly that Israel will be in charge of Gaza’s security. They will pose this exactly like they did the humanitarian pause as something beneficial to Palestinians. Blinken did set the argument that if Israel is not in charge of security for Gaza, this could all happen again. Yet now both countries are saying they will not annex land. Their actions clearly show they are leading into annexation.
Israel is wrought with inconsistencies. The statements released from Israeli officials are nonsensical rants filled with range and vengeance. Israel states that they are allowing for safe zones, but people are being massacred in these safe zones. To cover their crimes, Israel has said it gave notice with flyers, but when the Palestinians flee from the area they are told to exit, they are still attacked. It is diabolical and evil. Israel also claims that there are stockpiles of fuel the Hamas has somehow accrued and is hoarding from the people while hospitals across Gaza are closing. This would be a true statement of Hamas utilizing the fuel for missiles but that requires rocket fuel, not natural gas. Also claiming that Hamas has tunnels under the hospitals. First they said that Hamas runs the Ministry of Health and they are launching missiles off the tops of hospitals, and when that was debunked Israel then moved onto the story that there are tunnel networks under the hospitals. There is one goal here, and it is absolutely apparent, Israel wants to destroy the hospitals of Gaza and further the genocide of Palestinians. If they do not have hospitals, they will die. That is their goal.
You cannot hold them accountable if there is absolute confusion in their words. It also an attempt to cover all sides when both Israel and the US are charged for war crimes. The US will say, “Well, we tried to stop them…” and Israel will say, “We respected safe zones and gave notice.” Both of these arguments are in bad faith and a twist of reality. This is the law of inconsistencies and those who try to benefit from them.
Notice that many pundits and leaders are confused as to the end goal. ISRAEL AND THE US WANTS THAT CONFUSION FOR A REASON. If you do not understand the end goal, there is nothing to hold to account. Do not fall for their inconsistencies and attempts to obscure. WE are supposed to ask leaders their intent and they are supposed to reveal that to their electorate, if not, that is not a democracy but an autocracy.
Ask the hard questions and hold elected officials accountable. We need clear explanations that follow what is said, if not, words and promises cannot be trusted. That is unacceptable in a democratic system.
